<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly save data stored in a part supplied with power intermittently in a semiconductor device. <P>SOLUTION: A first area 31 is supplied with power intermittently. A second area 32 is supplied with power continuously. A memory 32a is arranged in the second area 32. A saving circuit 23b saves data used in the first area 31 in the memory 32a before the power supply is stopped. A recovery circuit 32c recovers the data saved in the memory 32a to a given circuit of the first area 31.
