PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel for reducing an impurity remaining in the panel, and stable in driving even by long time lighting. SOLUTION: A seal layer 13 of the panel is formed as a multiple structure having a first seal layer 14 composed of amorphous glass and a second seal layer 15 composed of crystalline glass, and since a grain boundary of the second seal layer 15 becoming a leak factor is filled up with the amorphous glass of the first seal layer 14, high reliability is obtained for airtightness of the seal layer 13.
