PURPOSE: A method of cultivating a sweet potato using sweet potato stems as a seed or a seedling for cultivation of the sweet potato during winter is provided which saves sweet potato seedlings and permits many healthy sweet potato stems to be obtained. CONSTITUTION: Sweet potato stems which have hitherto be used as an edible food material are used after harvesting a sweet potato in autumn are used as a seed or a seedling for cultivation of the sweet potato during late January to early April. |
