<p>The invention concerns the provision of Internet service at seat level (4) in an aircraft passenger cabin, in aircraft not initially equipped for such services but having a passenger cabin equipped with electric power distribution network supplying through distribution terminals (9) groups (1, 2, 3) of passenger seats (4). It consists in mounting in the passenger cabin a local network for data exchange with Internet access dedicated to the portable micro-computers of passengers, which uses accessible passenger seat (4) network connection receptacles corresponding to the usual standard for portable micro-computers and wireless links for connecting said network connection receptacles to its server, with interface boards ensuring standard modifications at the level of the network connection receptacles and making the wireless links transparent for the user passengers.</p> |
