PURPOSE: A method for automatically converting a document in a mobile communication system is provided to configure text files from IMD(Input Message Description)/OMD(Output Message Description) files used in a BSM(Base Station Manager), and to automatically convert the files into HTML or post script files by using regular expressions, thereby reducing errors by an operator. CONSTITUTION: An operator is informed that an HTLM conversion operation is started(S21). The operator writes an HTML-type start tag in a target file(S22). The operator distinguishes whether each line contains document head information or text information by regular expressions, and stores distinguished results in different variables(S24). The document head information is converted into an initial of the target file, and the text information is converted into text of the target file(S23-S25). The stored variables are written in the target file. The operator adds an HTML final tag(S28), and closes an input/output file(S29).
