PURPOSE: An optical recording and playback method of a reverse stacking disk is provided to realize an accurate focusing by changing rotation speed of a disk corresponding to changes in thickness of a protective layer. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic pressure of air is generated according to rotation of a reverse stacking disk(10) by a spindle motor. A slider(20) with a focusing lens(1) reciprocates a surface of the disk by the dynamic pressure of air to regenerate or record signals in a state of levitating. The volume of the dynamic pressure of air is changed by controlling rotation speed of the spindle motor to control a gap between the spindle motor and the reverse stacking disk.
