Sealing arrangement for a door or a window

The sealing device can be fitted to the door panel or window and has a sealing element (10) which closes up the gap when the door or window is closed. A fixing rail (20) is attached to the door and an actuating rail (22) is mounted on a first long side of the fixing rail. The rails are each L-shaped in cross-section with the upright arm of the actuating rail attached at the upper end of an upright arm (28) of the fixing rail mounted on the door. The sealing element is fixed at the free end of the horizontal arm (32) of the actuating rail. The actuating rail can be pretensioned relative to the fixing rail and can be in one piece with same. The fixing rail is fixable on the door or window by adhesive.
