PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of tongs to be used always smoothly and stably even after having been used repeatedly for a long period of time. SOLUTION: Grip parts 2 and 2 are formed at tips of metal grip members 1 and 1, and a special steel material piece 3' with the same width as the grip members and an appropriate length is integrally fixed to the other ends of the metal grip members 1. After that, the special steel material piece 3' is bent at the center and the grip members 1 and 1 are made to face each other on left and right sides.
