PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the generation of minus ions of a minus ion generator for vehicle. SOLUTION: This generator comprises an ion blowing duct 230 connected to a side face duct 56 for passing temperature-adjusted air to a side face blowing grill 58 to divide the temperature-adjusted air, and a discharge needle 210 is located in the ion blowing duct 230. Since the side face blowing grill 58 blows out cold air for cooling in summer and hot air toward a vehicle side window glass in winter to prevent the fogging of the vehicle side window glass, the temperature-adjusted air can be blown out in each blow-out mode. Accordingly, an air flow is generated around the discharge needle 210 regardless of each blow-out mode, the reduction in minus ion quantity by electrification of various members located in the vicinity of the discharge needle 210 can be suppressed, and the minus ion quantity in a cabin can be consequently easily stabilized.
