A plate or transfer cylinder (1) casing (2) terminates in side parts (3,4) to build up a range of cylinders having variously diametered (D) casings (2). The sides are screw-collared (7) to the casing (2) to fit and center relative the casing in terms of outside and inside diameters (8,9). Pins (10,11) on the cylinder side parts (3,4) can be tensioned to one another by a single screw (12). The cylinder casing is bored out lengthways (16) to connect to compressed air feed at one end and connect at the other end by a radial bore to the ring groove in the second side part into which issue the blow holes (15) in the far end of the casing (14,2). Prefered uses are as plate, transfer, ink or damper cylinders. |
