DEVICE FOR SUCKING AIR ON ROAD OF DOWNTOWN AREA AND AIR SUCKING METHOD THEREBY

PURPOSE: A device and a method for sucking air on a road of a downtown area are provided to reduce the air pollution through the exhaust gas of sluggish vehicles on a road by forcibly sucking the exhaust gas from the ground, purifying and forcibly discharging to the upper part of high-storied building. CONSTITUTION: An intake duct(10) is buried underground near the surface of a footpath on a roadside in a downtown area. A blower(20) is installed in a basement(2) of a high-storied building(1) near the road and connected with the intake duct. An air purifier(30) is installed in the basement and connected with the blower. A discharge pipe(40) is connected with the air purifier, installed in the outer face near the roadside of the high-storied building by protruding outside the basement and installed a discharge nozzle in the end. Thereby, the purified air over a 1/4 position of an average height of the buildings in the roadside is diffused below the 1/4 position. Therefore, the air pollution by exhaust gas of vehicles is reduced effectively.
