The hands-free kit includes a mouse mat with a frame defining a position for temporary attachment of a mobile phone. A plastic tube guides sound from the earpiece loudspeaker to a microphone adjacent to a microphone which is close coupled to a jack plug fitting into the computer sound card. The hands-free kit for use with a mobile telephone and a computer comprises a base (1) which is integrated with a mouse mat in order to receive a mobile phone (2). The structure includes a telephone guide (3) determining the position at which the phone is to be placed on the mouse mat. A hollow plastic tube (4) provides a conduit for transmitting an audio signal from the mobile telephone loudspeaker to a microphone (5) which is connected near to the sound card (7) of the computer (8). A short length of electric cable (9) connects the microphone to a jack plug (6) for insertion in the sound card.
