A portable wireless communication terminal device (1) has a data communications function and a telephone function. The device (1) comprises upper and lower casings (2, 3) shown in <cross-reference target="DRAWINGS">FIG. 15</cross-reference>B, display means (12) having a display section exposed through an opening (6) of the casing shown in <cross-reference target="DRAWINGS">FIG. 15A, a</cross-reference> circuit board (10) installed in the casing and having the display means (12) on at least one surface of the circuit board as shown in <cross-reference target="DRAWINGS">FIG. 15C, a</cross-reference> first antenna (13) electrically connected to said circuit board (10) and disposed on an opposite side to the display means (12) inside the casing, and a second antenna (15) electrically connected to the circuit board (10) and mounted on a periphery of the display means (12) inside the casing. The device may maintain stable antenna characteristic and communication quality if it is placed on a table or if the fingers of a user cover a top of backside of the device.
