PURPOSE: Provided is an emerged plant vegetation floater and a water purification method using the floater that is advantageous in easily moving emerged plant other places. CONSTITUTION: The floater(200) comprises a basket type supporting frame(210) having a plurality of penetrating holes(214) at side walls(212) and the bottom(211), wherein the supporting frame(210) is made of foamed synthetic resin, or bamboo so as to have its floating force. The method comprises the steps of planting emerged plants in the floater(200), transporting the floater(200) with the emerged plants to a water purification area, arranging the floater(200) at adequate sites, fixing the floater(200) using an anchor, purifying the water by the floater(200) having the emerged plant therein, and removing the floater after finish of purification.
