PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a jig capable of preventing the position of the terminal from sliding and performing precise soldering when the terminal is soldered to the ceramic element for surface mounting. SOLUTION: A frame 2 having a space 2a for containing a ceramic element 21 in the frame; and a projection 5a which is projected and formed toward the space 2a for supporting the side of the ceramic element 21, the first hoop terminal 3, and the second hoop terminal 4; are prepared. The first hoop terminal 3 is jointed in the frame 2 for arranging the first terminal into the space 2a in the frame 2, the ceramic element 21 is arranged on the first hoop terminal 3 for contacting the side of the ceramic element 21 to the projection 5a formed in the frame 2 and contacting the electrode formed on one main side of the ceramic element 21 to the first terminal, and the second hoop terminal 4 is jointed to the frame 2 for contacting the electrode formed on the other main side of the ceramic element 21 to the second terminal 9 by presoldering.
