LIGHT EMITTING POLYMER COMPOSITION, ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light emitting polymer composition capable of forming an organic electroluminescent element (an EL element) which has high luminous efficiency and excellent durability and of forming a functional layer of an organic material with a wet method, and to provide an organic EL element and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The light emitting polymer composition is composed of a polymer component impregnated with a phosphorescent substance and the polymer component is composed of a hole-transporting component made from 50-99 mol% of a hole- transporting monomer and an electron-transporting component made from 50-1 mol% of an electron-transporting monomer. The polymer component either is a copolymer composed of 50-99 mol% of a structure unit stemming from a hole-transporting monomer and 50-1 mol% of a structure unit stemming from an electron-transporting monomer or is composed of a polymer derived from a hole-transporting monomer and a polymer derived from an electron-transporting monomer (wherein, the ratio of the two polymers is 50:50-99:1 in terms of a monomeric molar ratio).
