PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide phosphoric acid esters resistant to hydrolysis. SOLUTION: Di(substituted phenyl)-2-(meth)acryloyloxyethylphosphates having a structure of two esterified alkyl substituted phenols and a reactive unsaturated group are provided. The triphosphates are slightly hydrolyzed to generate an acid in a water containing a hydrolytic system such as emulsion polymerization or suspension polymerization and easily provide high molecular weight copolymers. The resultant copolymers are useful in various fields demanding flame retardancy, adhesiveness or transparency such as a film, a sheet, a photosensitive lithographic plate, a recording medium and a printed circuit board.
