A part of oil sucked by an oil pump (4) is circulated to an oil pan (1) through a hydraulic control circuit (5), an oil cooler (11) and an oil passage (13a) provided in a transmission case (2) and the oil pan (1). The oil guided to the oil pan (1) is gushed out from a discharge port (13b) of the oil passage (1) toward a suction port (3a) of an oil strainer (3) communicating with the oil pump (4). The discharge port (13b) of the oil passage (13a) is disposed opposite and adjacent to the suction port (3a) of the oil strainer (3) so that only oil containing a small number of bubbles is sucked by the oil pump (4).
