The bag has carrier cords or cord-like carriers and a flap (3). This is formed by the stiffened extended part of a longitudinal side of a bag edge, which is folded over the opposite side of the bag. The holes (2) for the cords are located under the flap edge. The flap is held down in position by integral tongues (5), which are inserted into slots (4) in the bag edge below it.
