PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an economic efficient terminating device. SOLUTION: The terminating device 1 an overshoot current detection part 11 which is connected between a high (H)-level reference potential line 15 and an inner transmission line 3a for a receive signal inputted to a signal input part 16 and detects a current of an overshoot of the receive signal, an undershoot current detection part 12 which is connected between the inner transmission line 3a and the ground and detects a current of an undershoot of the receive signal, an impedance adjustment control part (CTL) 13 which outputs a signal varying a termination impedance value with the overshoot current detection signal and undershoot current detection signal from the overshoot current detection part 11 and undershoot current detection part 12, and a termination impedance part (Zo) 14 which determines termination impedance for a transmission line 3 with the signal from the impedance adjustment control part 13.
