<p>Linear motor armature blocks (10, 11, 12) are provided with connectors (25a, 25b, 25c, 25d, 25e, 25f) at both their ends which electrically interconnect leads of armature windings (4) wound around the respective armature blocks so that the armature windings (4) are parallel-connected in the armature blocks. The paired connectors (25b) to (25c), (25d) to (25e) provided between the respective armature blocks are connected in phase. When the number of phases of the armature windings is three, and the pole pitch of a magnetic field pole is τp, the gap between the armature blocks is 2/3 τp. This constitution provides a low-cost linear motor armature and a linear motor such that the lead processing of the armature winding is facilitated, the assembling work of the armature blocks is efficient, and the motor thrust can be increased as the stroke of a morable member is increased.</p> |
