PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier capable of lowering the impedance of the circuit part on the output side of an amplifying element at the frequency of the modulating wave and more effectively using the linearity of the amplifying element in a structure different from that of a conventional power amplifier and to provide a radio communication apparatus. SOLUTION: The phase of a signal of the frequency of a modulating wave included in an amplified signal outputted from a FET 23a is inverted by a difference frequency inverting circuit 26. The signal of the frequency of the inverted modulating wave and a signal of the frequency of a modulated wave included in an amplified signal outputted from a FET 23b cancel each other at the drain of the FET 23b. At the drain end of the FET 23a, the signal of the frequency of the modulating wave included in the amplified signal of the FET 23a and a signal of the frequency of the modulating wave outputted from the FET 23b cancel each other.
