<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a strong impact is given to a certain point on a piezoelectric element when the piezoelectric element is struck to serve as a power generating means in a conventional electromagnetic power generator, and that the metal fatigue of the piezoelectric element is accelerated, so that the piezoelectric element can not be kept high in durability. <P>SOLUTION: This power generator is equipped with a piezoelectric element, and a support is provided so as to come into close contact with the piezoelectric element. The support is connected between a case fixing end and the piezoelectric element through the intermediary of a curved surface. Furthermore, an elastic body which restrains vibrations that are produced when the power generator hits against a case is disposed at either the free end of the power generator or a part of the case confronting the free end of the power generator. When a laminated piezoelectric unit is used, piezoelectric bodies and elastic bodies are alternately laminated into a laminate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
