PURPOSE: A flat image display is provided to minimize a transform rate by improving vacuum intensity when an atmospheric pressure is applied to a vacuum container, thereby minimizing the thickness of the vacuum container. CONSTITUTION: A flat image display(1) employs an electrode unit(30) generating electrons inside a vacuum container composed of a front container(20) and a rear container(10). The electrode unit includes a linear negative electrode, a drawn electrode, a control electrode, a horizontal deflection electrode, and a vertical deflection electrode. The rear container forms a spherical curvature. A flat mounting element(11) is installed in the rear container to easily install the electrode unit.
