<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out accurate acquisition/tracking by removing effect due to light other than laser beams while suppressing the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A satellite optical communication system is provided with a capture means which captures, via the space, images containing laser beams that are emitted by a ground station communication system and has a predetermined signal condition at current frame time and a different signal condition from the predetermined signal condition at succeeding frame time, a converting means which converts the captured image into electric signals, a detecting means which detects the difference between the signal corresponding to the current frame time and the signal corresponding to the succeeding frame time in the electric signal, and an identifying means which identifies the position of the laser beams in the image taken in by the capture means based on the detected difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
