PURPOSE: A method for aging a field emission display panel by using a scan operation is provided to implement the aging by applying a voltage only to the scan electrode lines of the field emission display panel, whereby the operator easily inserts the field emission display panel into a plurality of connection jigs. CONSTITUTION: A method for aging a field emission display panel by using a scan operation includes the steps of: applying the scan voltage to each of the scan electrode lines(Sk,Sk+1,Sk+z), subsequently; and applying a bias voltage being different from the scan voltage to each of the scan electrode lines(Sk,Sk+1,Sk+z) while the scan voltage does not applied to each of the scan electrode lines. In this result, the path of the current flowing in the portion of the resistive short(RS) is formed by the scan electrode lines(Sk,Sk+1,Sk+z) of the portion of the resistive short(RS), the data electrode lines(Dm) of the portion of the resistive short(RS), the field emission cells(Ck,Ck+1,Ck+z) located between the data electrode lines(Dm) of the portion of the resistive short(RS) and the scan electrode lines(Sk,Sk+1,Sk+z) and the scan electrode lines(Sk,Sk+1,Sk+z).
