<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign language learning system enabling a learner to feel close to the contents of learning materials even if the learner is a beginner and to maintain motivation for learning and also to receive and learn, e.g. during commuting time, learning materials using news, etc., of the day for the subject matter. <P>SOLUTION: The foreign language learning system in which level ID is set in accordance with the degree of preliminary knowledge of a member K on the contents of learning materials is constituted of a member information DB1 recorded with the present level ID of the member K, an e-mail address to be the distribution destination, and learning material distribution schedule; a daily speech data DB2a and a common speech data DB2b recorded with speech data of the learning materials and the level ID of the learning materials; a learning material parts DB3 recorded with data concerning selection rules when synthesizing these speech data DBs; and a learning material DB4 storing mail data distributed to the member K.
