PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent combustible refrigerant from catching fire even if a refrigerant leaks from a connecting part between a cooling device and its peripheral pipe disposed in a cold room. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, a cooling device 3 formed by a cooling pipe with a fin and a blowing fan 32 are provided in a cold air duct 30 partitioned in a storage room, and a refrigerant circuit including the cooling device 31 is filled with a combustible refrigerant. The cooling pipe of the cooling device 3 is formed of one pipe thicker than the other refrigerant pipes 34, 35 extending from an inlet side connecting pipe 31A to an outlet side connecting pipe 31B. The inlet side connecting pipe 31A and the outlet side connecting pipe 31B are connected to the other refrigerant pipes 34, 35 outside the storage room. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
