PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive that is composed of an aqueous or non-aqueous polymer having satisfactory stickiness and cohesiveness as a base of a patch, suitable for including lipophilic medically active substances, and provide a patch preparation using the same. SOLUTION: The adhesive comprises a polymer that includes one kind or two or more kinds of acrylic or methacrylic monomer units wherein at least one kind of monomer unit bears hydroxy group where the polymer is crosslinked with a boron-containing compound.
