PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an easy operation, safe folding, and utilization under a flat condition. SOLUTION: This folding seat comprises a seat cushion 11, right and left front links 16, 16, right and left rear links 17, 17, and a seat back 12. The seat cushion 11 is supported on a floor 30 side and made so as to be rotatable at a seat position A and a folding position B. In the right and left front links 16, 16, one of ends thereof is hinged to the front side of a seat back blacket 15 and the other of the ends thereof is hinged to the lower side of each of seat back sides 14, 14. In the right and left rear links 17, 17, one of ends thereof is hinged to the rear side of the seat back blacket 15 and the other of the ends is hinged to the lower side of each of the seat back sides 14, 14. The seat back 12 is also provided so as to be rotatable at a seating position C and a folding position D by a rotary damper 18 which fixedly mounts a housing on the seat back blacket 15 at bracket-side hinge connecting positions of the rear links 17, 17 and connects the rear links 17, 17 to the rotor in a whirl-stop manner.
