PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal plating method for plastic, and a product plated by the method in which the number of treatment steps is small, the treatment is simple, accessory treatments such as treatment of waste electrolyte is simple. SOLUTION: The solution containing an organic binder having a part to be bonded with the plastic by the chemical bonding, or the like and a part which can be bonded by metal particles through adsorption and metal colloid of the metal, or the solution containing the metal colloid of the metal when the plastic with the organic binder containing in the skeletal structure is metal- plated at least on the surface to be plated is used in a plating bath, and a step of performing electroless plating of the plastic in the plating bath is provided.
