PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high washing efficiency by avoiding inverse effects of static electricity generated in washing work using dry ice pellets. SOLUTION: The washing apparatus comprises a washing booth 12 disposed so as to take out a washed article, a jetting nozzle 21 for simultaneously jetting a washing liquid and a granular sublimable substance together with a carrier gas to an article to be washed, pneumatic means 22, 26, 33, and 34 for sending a carrier gas to the jetting nozzle 21 by pressure, supply means 23, 24, 27, 28, 35, 36, 39, 40, 42, 45, 50, and 51 for simultaneously sending the sublimable substance and the washing liquid to the jetting nozzle 21 and the surface of the article to be washed installed in the washing booth 13 is washed by jetting the carrier gas together with the sublimable substance and the washing liquid to the article from the jetting nozzle 21 by operating the pneumatic means 22, 26, 33, and 34 and the supply means 23, 24, 27, 28, 35, 36, 39, 40, 42, 45, 50, and 51.
