PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal apparatus which is free from the dripping of condensated water on an installing place when atmospheric temperature becomes low so as to cause condasated water and which produces quiet operation sound at night and has high usability. SOLUTION: The garbage disposal apparatus is provided with a garbage storage container 2 for storing kitchen leavings, a heating means 4 for heating the kitchen leavings, an exhausting means 14 for exhausting air out of the garbage storage container 2, and an exhausting port 13 for exhausting the air out of the garbage storage container. Absorbing members for absorbing water caused through condensation of the air are provided in the vicinity of the exhausting port 13 and an exhausting passage 9 between the garbage storage container 2 and the exhausting port 13. The comfortable garbage disposal apparatus, by which a floor is prevented from being stained when the condensated water is produced, can be provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
