<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush that can make difference in polishing feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This electric toothbrush has a built-in linear oscillator 2 comprising a movable part 5 composed of a shaft 3 and a plunger 4; a pair of fixed parts 16 for holding both end sides of the shaft 3 slidably; a vibration absorbing weight part 12 slidably mounted on the shaft 3; a first spring 12 for connecting one fixed part 16 to the movable part 5; a second spring 14 for connecting the movable part 5 to the vibration absorbing weight part 12; and a third spring 15 for connecting the vibration absorbing weight part 12 to the other fixed part 16. A vibration preventing holder 18 for fixing the vibration absorbing weight part 12 to a case 7, or an integrating holder 19 for fixing the vibration absorbing weight part 12 to the movable part 5, is detachably provided, and in addition to the primary mode and secondary mode natural frequency, the natural vibration in the mounted state of the vibration preventing holder 18 or integrating holder 19 is selectable as the vibration frequency of the movable part 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
