PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body hair treatment apparatus and a treatment material for use therewith capable of preventing the adherence of the treatment material without causing a clogging within a treatment material supply part, stably discharging the treating material, refreshing users in use, restraining irritation and preventing the skin from becoming rough. SOLUTION: The body hair treatment apparatus has a body hair treatment part 6 to perform a cutting treatment or depilatory treatment of body hairs. Further, in the vicinity of the body hair treatment part 6, it has a treatment material supply part to discharge a treatment agent for treating body hairs. The treatment material mainly comprises lower alcohols and water. The composition of the treatment material is entirely composed of volatile ingredients or liquid-like ingredients.
