PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device which can perform stable lifting operations with one mechanism box even in a lifting rack lengthened sideways. SOLUTION: The first and second lifting racks 13a and 13b same in shape are housed at a specified interval in a housing case 12 of the lifting device 11. The outer side wall of the first lifting rack 13a is rotatably supported with the first front support link 16a and the inner side wall rotatably supported with the first rear support link 19a. The first rear support link 19a makes up a parallel link with the first front support link 16a when projected on the outer side wall of the first lifting rack 13a. Likewise, the outer side wall of the second lifting rack 3b is supported by the second front support link 16b while the inner side wall thereof is supported by the second rear support link 19b. Thus, when the first lifting rack 13a or the second lifting rack 13b are pulled downward forwardly out of the housing case 12, lifting operation is done with the horizontal level thereof secured.
