<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary power and noise of a device having a means which cools a transfer material in the case of out putting the transfer material output from a heat pressure fixing unit out of an image forming device and to improve the ability of the device to place the transfer material onto a paper ejection tray. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device has a means for cooling a transfer material output from the heat pressure fixing unit, a means for recognizing output conditions for the transfer material, and a control means for altering drive conditions for the cooling means according to the result of the output condition recognition means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
