PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic roll assembly that can be assembled easily and accurately, and can facilitate its reprocessing and reproduction. SOLUTION: A magnetic roll assembly 100 comprises; a roll core 110 made of a first material and having a longitudinal axis; a plurality of positioning members that position belt-shaped magnets 120, 122 and 124, and are located at an outer surface and made of the first material; and the plurality of belt- shaped magnets 120, 122 and 124 to be positioned on the plurality of positioning members on the external surface. Each of the plurality of belt-shaped magnets has at least a first surface, a second surface and an engaging part that is located at least one either of the first and second surfaces, of which at least the one surface is at a symmetrical position with one of the plurality of positioning members for the purpose of positioning and mounting the plurality of belt-shaped magnets at the roll core 110.
