PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that formation of an arrival hole is required by breaking a shaft wall face and spring water or the like arises when the wall face is broken in order to install the arrival part when a shield machine arrives at an arrival shaft. SOLUTION: A shield arrival apparatus 22 composed of pipes having a partition wall at one end and including a shield machine in the inside is liquid-tightly installed on a shield machine arrival part 21a of the shaft wall face. The shield machine itself is made so as to break and cut the wall face and advance in the shield arrival apparatus 22 by breaking and cutting the wall face of the shield machine arrival part 21a. After segments 10 which are constituent members of the tunnel are serially joined from a packing 23 of the inside of the shaft wall face to the inside, the shield machine is advanced in the inside of the shaft. Thereby spring water or the like is prevented from intruding from soil to the inside of the shaft, and the shield machine is introduced to the inside of the arrival shaft without breaking the wall face from the inside of the shaft.
