PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a baseline of a chromatogram. SOLUTION: A waste liquid bottle 20 and a waste liquid pipe 21 for waste liquid discharged from a detector 15 are disposed at the lower side of the detector 15 so as to effectively discharge the waste liquid from the detector 15. Aluminum foils 24, 26 are wound around each pipe 25 in a housing 17 and around an eluting solvent pipe 22 supplying eluting solvent from an eluting solvent bottle 11 toward a pump 18 so as to provide thermal insulation and reduce temperature gradient at each section. Therefore, the baseline of the chromatogram can be stabilized, and the measurement can be carried out accurately, and reliable data is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
