PURPOSE: A method for preparing a functional synthetic resin and a functional fiber and a functional product containing the functional synthetic resin prepared by the method are provided, wherein the functional product radiates a strong far infrared ray. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of mixing 1-5 wt% of a coloring agent, 0.001-10 wt% of pyroligneous liquor and a synthetic resin, and adding an antifoaming agent to the mixture and mixing them; melting the mixture in a stirrer to make it be liquid; and curing the obtained liquid mixture and extrusion and injection molding it. The pyroligneous liquor is a natural pyroligneous liquor or a synthetic pyroligneous liquor. Preferably the synthetic resin is selected from the group consisting of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin, very low density polyethylene, acrylonitrile-styrene resin, medium density polyethylene, polypropylene, melamine-formaldehyde resin, polycarbonate, ultra low density polyethylene, polyethylene (comprising HDPE, LDPE and L-LDP), polyethylene terephthalate, polystyrene (comprising GPPS and HIPS), styrene-acrylonitrile resin, rayon, polyurethane, nylon and coprene.
