PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retard the breakage of a melting furnace by allowing molten slag or molten metal to reach a jacket portion. SOLUTION: This plasma ash melting furnace comprises the cylindrical jacket portion, a castable applied to the inner wall of the jacket portion, a refractory tile arranged inside of a jacket beyond the catable to form a furnace portion, and a stamping material filled between the catable and the refractory tile. In another configuration, the plasma ash melting furnace comprises the cylindrical jacket portion, a plurality of fixing members installed on the inner wall of the jacket portion, and the castable applied to the inner wall of the jacket and the fixing members, whereby the castable can be fixed to the inner wall with the fixing members. Further, in another configuration, the plasma ash melting furnace comprises the furnace portion arranged inside of the jacket beyond the castable and the fixing members and formed of the refractory tile and the stamping material filled in the castable and between the fixing member and the refractory tile.
