<p>A splitting machine (1; 100; 200) for hides (7) comprising a frame (2) supporting a superior (3) and an inferior (4) transversal beam between which a split blade (5) is comprised. A gauge roller (8) and a compensator assembly (9; 109; 209) are placed in contact with on the opposite sides (7a, 7b) of the hide (7) and kinematically connected with engine means for the progress of the hide (7) to split against the split blade (5). The gauge roller (8) is integral with the inferior transversal beam (4) and the compensator assembly (9; 109; 209) is integral with the superior transversal beam (3).</p> |
