PURPOSE: A voice signal device of a rest room is provided, which gives convenience to a blind person by installing a voice generation unit as well as a character display at a door of the restroom. CONSTITUTION: A voice signal device of a rest room includes a character display(4), a light transmitting sensor(5), and a light receiving sensor(5-1). The character display unit is installed at the front side of a door(2) which is installed at a wall body(1) of a rest room by using a hinge. The character display unit is turned on or off by a switch which is installed at the inside of the door. A voice generation unit(6) having a chip for storing the voice is installed at one side of the light transmitting sensor. The voice generation unit is turned on when the beam is blocked between the light transmitting sensor and the light receiving sensor.
