PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with standing-up supporting mechanism which is light in weight, has durability and is cost-reduced. SOLUTION: A first turn frame 13 to be turned around a horizontal shaft 12 is attached onto a mechanism body frame 13, and a second turn frame 15 to be turned around a horizontal shaft 14 is attached on the front end side of this turn frame 13. A seat part 4 is fixed on the second turn frame 15 and, when the front end side of the turn frame 13 is displaced downwards by an actuator 32, an abutment member 20 protruded upwards from the side of the mechanism body frame 3 is abutted onto the lower surface of the turn frame 15. Then, the turn frame 15 is inclined forwards together with the seat part 4 to support the standing-up action by a user from a chair 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
