PURPOSE: A welding apparatus and a welding method are provided to easily and uniformly weld parent metal having a small size and a low resistance value by using a jig and induction heating. CONSTITUTION: A welding apparatus includes an induction heater(400), a jig(300) and a filler metal dispenser. The induction heater(400) forms a magnetic field in an electric wire(410) by applying high-frequency current to the electric wire(410), thereby creating induction current in an electric conductor. Induction current is converted into heat due to resistance of the electric conductor so that the electric conductor is heated. The jig(300) is made of an electric conductor having a resistance value higher than a resistance value of parent metal to be welded. Parent metal is rested on the jig(300). The filler metal dispenser is provided to supply a liquid-phase metal filler to a welding part of parent metal.
