PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing an electrode for a Li secondary cell is provided to prevent an inter-electrode short and minimize defective proportion by minimizing generation of burrs from the electrode. CONSTITUTION: Active materials(200,201) are mixed into organic solvents to prepare slurries in steps 210,211. The slurries are coated on both sides of an aluminium foil which is a current collecting material to form an electrode plate in steps 220,221. The electrode plate is dried and pressed with a constant thickness in steps 230,231. The pressed electrode plate is cut into a suitable size via a laser cutting to form electrodes(250,251) in steps 240,241. A separator(252) is inserted between the anode(250) and cathode(251) to be stacked with the electrodes(250,251) in the order of anode(250), separator(252), cathode(251), separator(252) and anode(250) or cathode(251), separator(252), anode(250), separator(252) and cathode(251). The stacked plates(250,251,252) are welded and inserted into a cell case, an electrolyte is poured, and a sealing is performed in step of fabrication(270) to manufacture a Li ion secondary cell(280). |
