PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair bleach exhibiting strong and uniform bleaching effects, preventing unevenness of bleaching from occurring by a stabilized viscosity, and hardly having blowout of a mixed liquid and danger of rupture of a container caused by the generation of oxygen. SOLUTION: This hair bleach contains at least one kind of a compound dissociating in water to form Mg<SP>2+</SP>or Ca<SP>2+</SP>ion. Magnesium sulfate, magnesium chloride, magnesium bromide, magnesium nitrate, calcium chloride, calcium bromide and calcium iodide are cited as a concrete example of the compound.
