PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage box for a vehicle capable of surly fixing on a seat in the vehicle. SOLUTION: A belt groove 9 crossing at right angles with a front and after direction of a vessel main body 1 is formed on the vessel main body 1. A storage box is tightly fixed on the seat S of the vehicle by putting a seat belt B in the belt groove and fastening the seat belt B and the storage box does not move in the vehicle even if inertia force acts on the storage box when a brake is applied. A hook part 10 is formed on at least one side of the belt groove 9 to retain the seat belt 8 in the belt groove 9 and enable to surely fasten the seat belt B. The belt groove 9 is formed at an extending part 7 extending inside of a opening part 6 to form whole of the storage box in compact. A structure covering the belt groove 9 with a cover body 12 can make it harder for the seat belt B to come off the belt groove 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
