PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove foreign matter mixed in a steam compression type refrigerator with a simple method. SOLUTION: Coolant in a tank main body 71 is flown out from an upper side of the tank main body 71 and a compressor 10 is operated under a condition that a foreign matter removing tank 70 without an oil return hole is attached on a suction side of the compressor 10. Consequently, since foreign matters of high density accumulate in a lower side of the foreign matter removing tank 70 and are collected, foreign matters in the steam compression type refrigerator are removed. Consequently, foreign matters mixed in the steam compression type refrigerator can be removed with the simple method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
